This genuine military parachutist’s individual weapon case is constructed from Type I cotton duck or 12.5-ounce nylon and lined with quarter-inch felt. Its bottom is internally reinforced with leather or reinforcement webbing.

The side closes with a slide fastener thong and snap fastener. Webbing chapes secure a quick-release snap link and several metal loops to the case. The snap link accommodates the quick-release snap hook used to attach the case to a parachutist’s harness.
