Blank-Firing Adapters
The featured AR-15/M16 blank-firing adapter was described as a US-made UTG PRO accessory from Leapers. A blank-firing adapter fits over a firearm’s muzzle and restricts escaping propellant gas so that a gas-operated action can cycle blank ammunition.
The adapter was described as having steel-alloy construction, a highly visible red finish and a ring used for installation and adjustment. It was designed to fit AR-15 and M16 firearms equipped with a standard A2-style flash hider. The post also mentioned a yellow M4 adapter intended for 16-inch firearms with muzzle brakes.
